Driving Science, Driving the Future 2012 Formula 1^TM Australian Grand Prix Careers and Skills Forum, Golf Course Entertainment Area

The Forum offers students in Years 9-12 and careers advisors the opportunity to discover the exciting career pathways available in Victorian industry through an industry showcase featuring interactive displays and high-tech projects, as well as engaging presentations by early-career professionals and qualified trades people working in Victoria's advanced manufacturing, defence supply and automotive sectors. Key features of the Forum include:

• Inspiring speakers from the advanced manufacturing, engineering, defence and automotive fields, including F1 Team personnel and the Head Engineer of GM Holden Australia Ltd.
• Presentations by Young Industry Ambassadors from GM Holden, the Defence Science and Technology Organisation, BAE Systems and more.
• High-profile industry exhibitors including Formula 1 in Schools, Formula SAE, the Victorian Centre for Advanced Materials Manufacturing and Thales.

The industry-based careers seminars for careers advisors and students will take place on Thursday 15 March 2012 and Friday 16 March 2012 respectively, and the industry exhibition will be open from Thursday 15 March 2012 to Sunday 18 March 2012.
