As service providers who are ‘on the ground’, community organisations are well informed of the issues affecting local parents, families and young people. INLLEN supports the work of our community organisations in supporting those young people who are at risk of disengaging or those who have already disengaged from education, training or employment.
Below are some of our current partnership initiatives with community organisations:
- Pacific Pathways
- StraighTalk
- L2P (Learner Driver Program)
- Koorie Parents and Community Engagement (KPaCE)
- Deadly Pathways
Read more about our Partnerships here or contact us if you would like to discuss any potential areas for collaboration.
In the INLLEN region, the Inner Northern Youth Connections Consortium is funded to ensure young people at risk of not attaining Year 12 or an equivalent qualification get the support they need to remain engaged, or to reengage in education or training and to make a successful transition onto further education, training or employment. Your Youth Connections provider is an important partner in your work with young people. For more information about Youth Connections or to connect to a provider in the Northern region contact 1800 136 614.
